Limits and fair use

This page is generated from the code that enforces each limit. Unless a line says otherwise, reaching a limit pauses the service or refuses the action, and nothing is ever billed for going over.

Allowance Free trial (your subdomain) Paid project
Outbound email 100 sends a month 1,000 sends a month (more with an email add-on)
Receiving mail unlimited unlimited
Uptime checks 2 endpoints, every 60s 15 endpoints, every 30s
Automation rules 2, webhook actions only 15, email or webhook
Analytics 100,000 pageviews a month (fair use, never blocked) 500,000 pageviews a month (fair use, never blocked)
Website bandwidth 10 GB fair use 100 GB a month

Sends reset on the first of each calendar month, or on your plan’s monthly renewal date once the project has an email add-on. An add-on raises sends only for the project you bought it for. The other allowances are per project too, so a second project brings a second set.

  • Up to 5 projects per account.
  • Up to 5 domains per account.
  • Up to 10 services in one project.

They’re there to stop abuse. If you need more, contact support and we’ll raise them for your account.

  • Attachments up to 10 MB per message.
  • Junk mail is deleted after 30 days; nothing else in your mailbox is deleted unless you delete it.
  • Each mailbox includes 1 GB of storage, and usage shows on the email card. Going over does not block anything today; if that changes you will hear about it well before it applies.

Domain purchases are protected against card fraud, which means a new account starts with lower purchase limits that rise on their own as your account builds a payment history:

  • 2 registrations or transfers a day and 5 in any 30 days to begin with; 10 a day and 50 in 30 days for established accounts.
  • A ceiling on how much can be outstanding on card payments at once (€300 to begin with, €1500 for established accounts).
  • Domains priced above €100 at the registry can’t be bought (€500 for established accounts).

If you reach one of the first two, you can still buy that domain by paying with iDEAL or Bancontact instead of card. No account can place more than 20 orders in 24 hours. Renewals are never limited. An account becomes established once it has a payment older than the card-dispute window (120 days), has never had a chargeback, and has an active plan.

Agents act under an agent key with a policy you set. By default:

  • Keys have no spending limit of their own. Nothing is charged until a payment method is on the account, and every domain purchase waits for your approval. Each key can create a set number of projects, and new accounts have a €50 monthly ceiling across all their keys.
  • Domain purchases and project deletion ask for your approval, and approvals expire after 72 hours. Names that look like a well-known brand always ask, whatever the key’s policy.
  • Changes to MX, TXT, NS and CAA records ask for your approval.
  • Up to 10 site deploys and 60 DNS changes an hour per key.
  • New accounts: one key per project, one agent-created project, 2 mailboxes, and keys unused for 30 days are revoked. These lift once the account is established.
